i know from the inside, but just the drive shaft that kills me, I don't wanna put too much pressure on it that I might break something, plus I can't see the under the CV boot coz it's pack with grease, I don't wanna do something on a part that's not have anything to do with disassemble...

I'm thinking you take a crowbar and pop the whole axle out of the transmission. There should be a C ring holding it in, all you gotta do is apply enough force to pop it out of the groove holding it in.

yeah, just get a crow bar or a big flat head screwdriver and pop it out, usually you can just give it a good tug, but prying it out is the best way. when you pry it out, transmission fluid(gear oil) is going to come out of the hole. so have a pan underneith it. Good luck

no fluid should come out because you have seals sealing the fluid in the transaxle. If fluid does come out, you need to replace the seals. And when taking the axles out, be careful not to damage the seals.

dude, there shouldn't be a need for hondabond where the tranny bolts to the engine.....there's no fluid in there. just the clutch. there is a seal on the output shaft, but you won't be messing with that. and if you openned up the tranny housing.....that was not needed to replace the clutch. I'm not sure what you are talking about putting hondabond on???????

^^^ you where the tranny housing the keeps the transmission oil in? I friggin hammered the **** out of it coz I thought I need to take them off to get the bell housing out anyway, yeah i figured that I don't need to take them off, lucky i didn't break anything...

the bell housing is not completely off yet, there's two more bolts that I need to take out before it comes off... will this thing drop on my head from underneath? how heavy is it? do I have to take my downpipe off will the engine falls off after I take the bolt from the engine mount and from the oil pan?
