Anyone have Axis Touring Cup or Rota SlipStream wheels??

Just wondering if anyone has either one of them on their 2k1 and maybe a pic to go along? I'm interested in getting some white Axis touring cups w/black center or a set of Rota Slipstreams...was thinking of white also for those but it probably wont look even close to as good as the touring cups so i might just go with flat black for the slipstreams if i get them. TIA. Late. Also not sure if i should try to go with 17s...was really just considering 16s.

Hey,

I got some 17" White Touring Cups with a blue center. They look IMO very, very nice.

I just got me digi-cam so I should be able to put some pictures of them really soon, possibly tomorrow afternoon.

About the size, I have a 2 inch drop and the rear settled down to match the front. And with 17's it looks pretty good, still some gap but I would strongly recommend going with 17's rather then 16's. Thats if you can afford to spend it.

I paid nearly 1100 for the 4 wheels/tires with installation and the lock, etc....

Pretty Expensive I know, but there was only 1 shop here in Orange County that had Touring Cups in stock, others had to directly order from Axis (3 months eta)

SugarRay,

I was planning on getting those for my 96 Civic awhile back. Than I got a 2001 Civic and I was going to buy it for this car but I wasn't sure how they would look. Guess you answered my question. Awesome ride man.

Matrix,

Thanks!

They are the biggest investment I have made towards my car. Really expensive. But to me well worth it.

I was considering different rims, like Racing Harts M5, C20 (lightweight) but the C20 were way too expensive. So it was a choice between the M5 or the Axis. While RH have a better brand name, I thought the Axis was perfect match for me car.

Only downside, white rims are freaking a tough time to clean.

Hehe...Man you and I seem to have the same taste in rims. I was also looking into those too but they were to expensive for my blood.

What do you mean? There hard to clean or hard to keep clean?
