turbo question

anyone have any expierence with a garret t3 with a 60 trim compressor trim? im just curious on wat the main difference is with the 60 trim and the super 60 trim. im guessing the flow would be better with the super 60, but just curiuos if i could get the same performance with just the plain 60 trim.

super 60 is just a housing. It is an ar.60 housing for a t3. You can get a super 60 with a 50 trim wheel, 57 trim wheel, 60 trim wheel, etc.

super 60 is the housing, 60 trim is the wheel.

i dont believe so. I have an ar.42 housing with a 57 trim wheel in it sitting in my garage. I also have a T3 Super 60 turbo with a 50 trim wheel.

that is a ar .60 housing with what they are calling a super 60 trim wheel. From the 80 or so super 60's i have dealt with, it is nothing more than a super 60 with a 57 trim wheel.
