i don't understand your exhasut idea. no exhaust will give u that much power. as far as a header (with no S) goes, it will help a little but power wise, u won't come close to 200+ HP without forced induction

Naturally aspirated our cars will some day be capable of break 230Bhp... but the engine would not idle well... it would guzzle fuel and it woould involve many many many hours of work and parts and tuning...I've personally seen a Stock 1998 Civic LX coupe turn out 202HP at the wheel natuarally aspirated and still streetable...With high compression pistions, Stroker kit, shaved heads much stiffer valve springs new camshaft, flywheel pulleys, and about 220 manhours of tuning the fuel system and Ignition timing.... also that car safely handled 8500Rpms too....but still lol..
Cheers

Still though.. a Turbo and less work can get much better gains than that..

do a universal muffler, 2.25-2.5" piping, and a pre-muffler.
A pre muffler is like a resonator, but has a bigger flow. Banzai makes a good one, although I don't know where you can get it online. I got mine @ Drivers Image in Skokie. I believe they do mail order. Go to the website: www.driversimage.com or call them @ 847-568-5555. I like them a lot, and try to buy from them as much as possible.

You can install a cat-back system, Custom or aftermarket. As soon as you remove your resonator and increase your exhaust diameter, you will feel a little more power, and your car will be louder but, here is the thing... If you are going to buy a pipe, if you can see there is a straight opening inside, from one side to another, is going to be loud, but, if you don't want the loudest one, you can knock the outside with your knuckles, and you'll be able to hear the difference between the pipes. Some of them make a "dull" noise, this are not so loud as the ones that make a "can" noise(high pitch noise) when you hit them.
Hope it helps...
