Just got my new struts!

haha i'm so happy! i ordered tokico blue's from street level performance and i am so stoked i just needed to tell people. I'd like to say that street level performance was awesome and i'm expecting my motor mounts tommorow. Everythings going so well, i'm in car heaven.

On Monday i go to englishtown raceway for orientation for a security position i was hired for! Damn life is great! I cant wait to work there and now i'll be able to start drag racing in my not stock honda civic! Does anyone wanna guess what my times will be with the tokico hp's and motor mounts as my only mods, i'd like to have a benchmark for when i go. I know my first few runs are going to be crappy cause i've never done it before, but who cares its all about beating your own times right?

Thank you 2k1 civic.com for providing the civic community with good vendors and assloads of info!

Youre looking at 16's, 15s if your one hellofa shifter. If you had a lot of wheel hop before, the mounts may help out some. Probably not much though. Youll absolutely love the tokicos though. Are you lowering your car, or is it lowered already?

I have tokicos/Goldine springs. Awesome ride. I just ordered the poly mounts from Jeff @ Street Level as well. I also ordered a clutch today (well paid half, will pay the rest after my trip), got my struts from them, my turbo kit from them. They are very helpful, and have the best prices.

They are the bombest vendor on this site. RoBear is an awesome vendor as well w/killer prices!, but Jeff is the coolest! haha

BTW, your time should be exactly the same as before, unless your doing auto-x, you should get a better time.

Peace

i paid 354 for the struts from street level, they were the cheapest by a nice margin over anyone else. I looked at ebay, and i found them for 275 but i dont trust ebay so i went with an authorized vendor, who i'm happy to give my money too.

No the car is still going to ride on the oem springs. I was going to order the tien s-techs but i will try this first and see how it goes.
