I actually have the old Mugen **** but it's too skinny for me.
ncirom, what did you do to have your **** fit perfectly? My **** is just sitting on top with the top of the boot touching the bottom.
Also, will the EK9 shift boot fit ours?

Get the Acura part from the shift **** DIY, it only cost me $6.50 and it looks great. My **** uses set screws so I had to modify the part a little so it would work. Now my Sparco **** looks like it came with the car.

Wow, we have 2 people calling Mugen "rice". So now everything is rice if it's expensive? The Mugen front bumper for the DC5 is over $1,000. You consider that rice, right?

I didnt comment anything on price being p"RICE".
I just dont see a reason to buy some kind of brand name mainly because its from the JDM. There are tons of ***** out there that will probebly look better and some replics without the MUGEN name and you wont even have to pay the price for it either.
Its like buying Paris Hiltons crap for super high prices, when you can buy some knock offs for cheaper ( I know quality, blah blah blah, but Shift ***** are metal period. There isn't much that can really break )

I was thinking of getting one too.....I was also thinking of getting the short shifter kit as well. I wanna know how it fits the stock boot.......does it have a recess for the snap??
On a side note: I don't get the whole metal **** thing, it's gets cold in wintertime. I got a suede covered one so I don't have to touch something freezing cold. If I wanted that I would hook up with my ex-girlfriend.

All I can say is teh B&M requires mods before it will work preperly. also search and you will find a lot more. And Im pretty sure it voids the tranny warrenty and 7thgens are known for tranny problems.
Who ever said it gets cold...I just put my hat over my skunk **** in the winter.

I could have gotten the 2,000 yen no-brand JDM ***** at Autobac's in Yokohama if I wanted to. I could have even gotten the 10,500 yen Spoon **** from Motegi. Instead, I drove up to Mugen Co. and got myself the 7,400 yen ****. You don't understand the difference between rice and JDM. You also don't understand the differences in culture. So, please educate yourself before typing whatever pops in to your head.
Just take a look at my name. I am JDM so to me, buying Mugen is like you buying APC.
If I want Mugen, I get Mugen.
