u gotta drop the subframe out dude. that whole subframes gotta come out then u can drop the tranny. if its an auto, careful so the torque convertor doesnt fall out, crack and blast fluid everywhere. but other then that, u just need the subframe off.

if u want more details PM BGOETZ. he swapped auto for manual, and he basically taught me how to do it with my constant questioning.

P.S. u need an engine hoist to support the engine when u take the transmisison out, cuz theres only like ONE MOUNT holding that engine up. i'm sure u can rent or borrow one from somewhere.

no already disconnected them its easy but i believe the sub frame is connected to the lower tie arms but not for sure my cars at my friends garage i would have to go look but im pulling it and swaping it with a diff one cuz i blew my second gear shift fork and i bought a used one with 15,000 miles on it. So have you pulled a tranny out ur civic b4 or have u just asked out how to? if you only have been told how too ill tell you how it goes when i get done but if you could try and help me figure this out it would be greatly apreciated
