Need Help Please
Point form because I don't want to write out the story
- girlfriend runs into lady's truck
- i deal with it because well I like being a ***** to people
- lady gets pissed at me and says she knows where I live based on information the police gave her(I called them, they don't give out addresses)
- I call her asking for her last name and she hangs up on me when I tell her it's for a police report for her threatening me and not for the ICBC claim.
All I have is her first name and a cell phone number, what do i need to file a report with the police?

Thanks guys...I don't have the information because my girlfriend has been dealing with the insurance company. I was basically just helping her out because I've been in similar situations. So all I have is a first name and the cell number...basically this has absolutely nothing to do with the incident, it has to do with **** between her and I. I wasn't even going to do anything, I'm not scared of some lady saying she knows where I live, I'm filing a police report because that's what the insurance company told my girlfriend to get me to do.
If the police were called when the accident occured they should have her (the lady) information. So they should have the info you need to file the report. But if you need the info for insurance, the police probably wont give it to you the insurance company will have to obtain that themselves. She is probably full of BS if she is telling you she has your info, especially if you werent even involved in the accident. However I know here in Maine, possibly other states when there is an accident and property damage greater then $1000, we give each party involved the others info, including address, vehicle & insurance information.

Phone companies wont give you a thing without a subpoena.

Second, you even said that you went to deal with it because you like being a ***** to people, but now since she hung up the phone on you and said she knows where you live, you want to file a police report? Doesnt make any since. She probably got pissed in the first place because you werent even part of the situation and you bitched at here when it was your girlfriends fault. What she said doesnt constitute a threat. She didnt say she was going to come to your house and shoot you or anything, she just said she knows where you live. Even if she said something threatning, who cares, you went and bitched at her first for something you had nothing to do with.
If I were the lady and if some girls boyfriend came up there and started bitching at me, I wouldnt have tooken that ****.
I am not trying to bitch at you or anything, but understand where the lady is coming from. Someone hit her, and now the chicks boyfriend is bitching at here when it isnt her fault. I dont think police are going to waist there time on a cheap report like that anyway.

Oh I understand that she would be pissed, I was in no way rude to her or anything when she initially called, whenever something like this happens everyone just wants to get the mess cleaned up as quickly as possible and forget about it. I only was a **** to her when she started to yell at me...and yeah streetglower I know it's no big deal if she knows where I live, but how is one supposed to interpret that? I can't see her using it at any advantage unless she was going to come to my house and do something or send someone to my house.
