You have everything else for the kit, right? just curious. I would say a tank of gas. Thats what some people recommended, so I said what the hell. I did boost for sure before that tank was up, but only once or twice to get some tuning done. Good luck!

4drcivic2k1's right. Once it lubricated, she's ready to go! Make absolute sure you don't hear the compressor shaft spinning (small metal to metal sound. It would be loudest when the car shuts off and the compressor is winding down). If so, u would possibly have a clogged oil feed line. A problem in which i ran across during my turbo install.)

Make sure u put some oil in the housing b4 installing. I would stay at low boost for the first couple hundred miles b4 really getting on it.

thanks everybody...i'll do what you guys are recommending....
problem with the first turbo is that i just didn't trust it... i baught it before i read up on the ssautochrome stories and since im not too mechanically inclined i figured i'd rather have piece of mind with a new garrett over the new XSpower one...
anyone want a brand new XSpower t3 turbo? .42/.48... i'll sell it really realllly cheap..

well hopefully someone jumps on it... if i could pop off a turbo easily then i'd for sure use it...but i'd have to get a shop to do it and it would cost more than its worth...
the turbo looks very very well built... i'll post it FS and see if i get any interest

Before you start the car, disconnect the feed line to the turbo and place it in a jug or something and crank the motor till oil comes out. Then hook it back to the turbo and crank (not start) for about 10-15 seconds.
