Dyno proven turbo kit - complete with everything needed for installation!
Well guys - I've been thinking about things for a while now. I need a new transmission, as my current one is shot. I really need a dependable car, for how far I drive. As everyone knows - turbos need TLC to function properly. I am getting to the point where I really don't want to invest any more into the civic, now that I have a house. Don't get me wrong, this car is a blast to drive, especially on the highway!!
But - I am starting to think that its time to move on....So, I am checking interest in my custom turbo set up. In case you don't remember, my setup is about 95% custom, the only thing that isn't is staffords manifold - so a lot of blood, sweat, and tears went into this kit (and swearing too!). I have posts on here that are dyno proven that this kit hit 221 HP and 225 ft/lbs of torque at 11 PSI on a stock motor. At around 9PSI it ran around 190 HP and 175 ft/lbs of torque.
Here is everything that I would sell with it as a "kit":
- stafford fabrications equal length stainless steel manifold (the last one he made!)
- custom 3" stainless steel intercooler piping
- spearco bar and plate intercooler
- t3 60 trim turbo
- HKS SSQV blow off valve
- Black anodized vacuum manifold
- Brake line with tap in place for vacuum manifold
- Golden Eagle oil plate sandwhich adaptor
- all oil lines
- 90% of the vacuum hoses you need! (Some had to be cut during removal)
- tapped oil pan with welded fitting (steel pan from LX)
- oil pan gasket (for steel pan only)
- K&N air filter
- Weapon R catch can
- all clamps, hoses, and fittings that I have
- Hallman Pro manual boost controller - in cabin adjustment!
- greddy emanage (with injector harness, ignition harness, and pressure sensor). TUNED by Titan motorsports!
- Split second ESC1 O2 sensor signal conditioner
- Return fuel setup, consisting of walbro 255 HP pump, modified stock fuel rail, and aeromotive FPR
- Autometer electric oil gauge + sending unit + hoses
- Autometer A/F ratio gauge
- Custom autometer LED boost gauge!!
- PLX Devices Wideband display + module to interface with the autometer A/F ratio gauge
- Autometer triple gauge pod, painted grey to match my interior (not a perfect match, but pretty good)
- Energy suspension motor mount inserts
This is a complete setup - everything you need to boost your civic - The only parts that will be required are a few miscellanious nuts and bolts to mount a few things.
My boost controller is set to 9 PSI, it only reaches 9 PSI when I floor it - otherwise, the Tial 38mm wastegate will only see spring pressure, which is around 5PSI in partial throttle.
This will be sold as a whole kit, as it has all been designed to work together. Please don't ask to part it out. Also - please don't low ball or trash this thead. Thanks...
Update on the status of the turbo - there is no shaft play! All I need to do is clean some of the parts up so that I can take photos for interested folks.
Regarding the installation - this isn't an easy kit to install due to the fact that there are a lot of electronics. Additionally, the removal of stock parts (such as the front bumper to mount the intercooler) - is required. If you are not competant in installing such items - I recommend you have a shop install this. It is a great setup - and I will miss it. The car actually feels a lot slower without in on

Well - nothing is for sure yet. I need to talk to a bank to evaluate my financial situation. My plan is to turn the car back to stock, and sell it for around $10,000 if I can. I don't know if I'll get that much or not. But anyways, I've been thinking that I can refinance my home equity loan, and take more money out....
I've been eyeing up a used IS300.....
pretty steep, they're around $20k starting, used! I don't know anything yet.....
All I know is that I need to move on - or I feel that I'll never be able to sell this car.

By the way - I forgot to mention this...
It will only fit cars that DON'T have ABS, as the IC pipe comes up the drivers side. You need to remove the windshield washer bottle. Additionally, it was fabbed for a manual transmission. I am not sure if the IC piping will fit autos....

Well guys - relax right now....Its still on the car. I can't do anything until I get replacement parts to take the return fuel system off (ie I need a complete sending unit with pump and fuel filter). Plus I still need a factory airbox as well - mine was broken well before installing the turbo.
When I get the replacement parts, I'll take it off and sell it. This probably won't be for a few weeks, as I need to get everything in order before I take it off - I can't afford much down time with my car. I really do need the money, owning a house is not cheap, as I'm finding out!

I'm interested in this kit now that I'm wanting to go boosted, and I have most of the $ from my insurance payout. Also, have stock airbox I'd be willing to send you... PM me or hit me up on AIM and let's try to talk some details.
Subarus FTW I do NOT miss my civic

if it comes down to where you want to part out, hit me up, I am interested in emanage.
I read the post to make sure you werent willing to part out, cuz most everybody says that. Sometimes it comes down to it, so if it happens, let me know. Good luck on the sale!
1st dibs on emanage

The car is staying with me, unfortunately. I've decided not to take on more debt at the moment. I really can't afford it.....So anyways - the turbo will still be for sale once I get all of my stock parts to replace them with.
