How To Adjust A Camber Kit Installation?

I want to know if we can adjust the camber kit ourselves. If so, how would we know how much to adjust or would we install them, then go to an alignment shop and they would adjust as they need to?

Thanks In Advance.

You would have to take your car into a service shop that has the right computerized tools to do an alignment. Without the right computer readouts, you would have no idea how much to adjust your camber and toe.

If you are adjusting the camber, one way to do it is put white shoe polish on the tire covering the tread. Drive a mile or so and check to see how much of the shoe polish came off then adjust the camber kit until all the shoe polish comes off the tread of the tires. This is as close as you can get to a perfect alignment without using a computerized alignment tool.

What is this tool from Ingalls used for 2300 Camber Kwik Gauge Iam assuming it is so that you can read the camber and adjust it yourself? I'd like to know because I plan to lower the car by summer if possible and am trying to learn all I can from searching

That tool is like a high dollar level. If you are going to be doing a lot of adjustment it would be worth the cash. If you want to get it exact without any tire wear take it to an alignment shop.
