Does Mixing Different Speed Tires Really Matter That Much

When I bought my rims, they came with Toyo Proxes and Bridgestone Potenzas. I assume those are both Z rated tires. Two of the tires were old though, and now I have to replace them. I already bought 2 Nankang Radials, V-rated tires. I was lookin on discount tire and it says never to mix tire speeds. Does it really matter?

antidote11 is an unknown quantity at this point
I would think you would be ok...as long as the speed ratings weren't too far apart.
And I would put the highest rated tires on the front, just in case.
