hmmm, Oversteer????? it is a drag strip he was not steering anywere. I would say the most probable cause next to just plain lossing it (I really don't see how that is possible, but ehh ) would be that he was shifting into 4th and hit 2nd insted. It is not hard to do especially if the shifters are at a 45 like all of the other mustangs. I could not imagine missifting in that powerful of a RWD car, but that is about what it would look like.

no way was that 4th gear. looks to me like he went to shift into 3rd, and cliped the brake with or instead of the clutch lol that woulda cause the stutter and then over correcting sent his dumb a$$ into the wall.

but yeah that guy is an idiot and should end his racing days.

Is it possible he shifted late and so the revs weren't matched and the car jerked, and since there is so much power in the car the effects are quite large.

Actually from what I have heard the guy was talking about how much power the 05's had. To make it seem like he had more power than he actually did around when he shifted into 3rd (not sure if it was before or after the shift) he quickly yanked the e-brake to make it seem like he chirped the tires going into 3rd, however he lost control and this is the result

As stupid as this sounds I have actually seen it done before

Oh the shifters are straight up and down, a real small nub actually. I think it would be kinda hard to miss a shift with this thing. Maybe he slipped off the shifter and pull up on the E-brake?
