straight pipe from the catback

Seriously, any full exhaust that has a resonator should be fairly quiet. I would steer away from the canister type mufflers. They are friggin loud.

Why would you like a performance muffler? If you like it to be quiet?

quiet = no better performance than stock who knows maybe even less thans stock. if your so concerned with quietness get a silencer to put on the muffler and then take it out when u want performace.

DC sports Twin Canister -- the gasses pass throught 2 race style mufflers before they exit so it is very quiet and you get added performance. I know cause I have one and am very pleased with it.

I would suggest the DC TCS myself.....I'm glad to hear that everyone that has one loves it, I plan on getting one here very soon...very, very, very soon. I already have a AEM short ram and DC headers, so I'm anxious to see what the TCS will do for me.

Question though, it does have some good sound right, it's not totally quiet is it. I want something that's got a good sound but not to ricey...
let me know bro.

The REMUS SportExhaust is a straight-through that is near stock quiet at idle and crusing but ramps it up under trailing or leading throttle.

It replaced the stock that was so quiet I couldn't hear my shift points with the radio down low. Performance? Probably about + 1/2hp but exhaust mods alone don't offer much more.

The TCS is quiet during normal driving but I sounds great when you Get on the throttle. It is not always quiet, only when it needs to be.
