Well, if for some reason your alarm can prevent a $17,000 loss (your vehicle), would you say it was a better investment than a set of wheels?

You could always get wheels in the future. Anyways, that's just my thought.

Definitely go for the alarm especially if you live in a city. My good friend in Phoenix has spent several thousand on his car but never got an alarm and his civic's been broken into twice so far. The first thing I did was get an alarm put in mine with some minor enhancements from Audio Express. Even if my car is elevated the alarm will stay on until I turn it off. If you try and cut the wires the alarm will also stay on as well. I guess there are advantages to knowing the owner.

go with the alarm. rims sound good but an alarm will help make sure your car is still where u parked

dont buy 15's itll look like a match box car. you might as well put wires on it and make them stick out in traffic..
