7thGen vs. 6thGen with "Race Gas"
I was at the local hangout last night just talkin when i hear some guy say "Race gas will give u 30 horses, even on a regular car". I was like WTF. After 10 or 15 minuets of arguing about it, he said that he could get some if i wanted to race him. He had a 6thgen ex with an intake, header, exhaust, and a "racing throtle body". He siad it was putting 200 at the carnk with 150 at the wheels
. I accepted and we went to some garage and the guy put some 112 octane in his car. We lined up and went on three honks. I got a crappy launch so he pulled about a fender on me. By the end of third i had put a little less than half a car on him. He tried to make up excuses about why he lost. But i wasn't even paying attention.
It felt so good to prove him worng. I wish i could do it every day.

Haha, I pictured his car just falling apart mid-race.
higher octane = slower burn. Unless you are running enough compression or boost to cause detonation with whatever octane you are currently running, higher octane gas will not help you, it will in fact, hurt.

Read up about Toluene... Mixing toluene with regular gas raises the compression drastically.
Convince him to run pure toluene in the next race with him... Bust out a video camera, and don't race... Shortly after he floors it... KABOOM! !!!
