i got a ticket earlier today for having my system too loud! i was cited for being able to hear my car from 150ft away. does anyone know what a price of that may cost in GA, and have they ever had a ticket for that before? if so...please reply to anything that may have resembled a audio ticket for your car...thanks

i got a ticket for "amplified devices within 50ft" in california. ticket was $120 ish. it occured in a poor city so they pretty much charged me in the ****

i drove by him and he heard it. i didnt have it turned up as loud when i was farther away.

when the officer pulled me over, i was right aside of her (definately not 50ft) and she immediately pulled me over right away just because she thinks its too loud. its officers judgement, if u try to fight, you got no proof that your system cannot be heard within this amount of feet.

(c) Penalties. Any person convicted of a violation of any provision of this article shall be subject to the following penalties:

(1) A fine not more than $1,000.00, or a period of confinement in the city jail not to exceed ten days and a probationary period not to exceed 180 days, or both.

im lost in the ordinances. so i need to ask a cop to measure it? i mean i know u cant hear it that far away and i didnt have it as loud, when i was driving by him. thats why he heard it so much when i drove by him.
