Talking coilovers still rough regardless the drop?

I was thinking of getting skunk 2 coilovers, and I was wondering if the ride quality is still bad with around a 1 inch drop. Because the spring rate stays the same regardless the drop I'm thinking the ride will still be pretty rough.

I'm gonna keep the stock shocks for now so should I just get some sport springs that has near stock ride quality?

if you just want a mild drop 1"-1.5" ish, then sport springs are your best bet because springs dont sacrafice your ride quality as much as sleeved coilovers in general. i've heard the tein s-tech springs and neuspeed sport springs offer ride comfort on the OEM shocks.
