Exclamation 1/4th Mile: Who Would Win...?

300HP/300trq TURBO AWD

or

300HP/300trq N/A AWD

P.S. Each driver and car weight the exact same. Let's see who really knows

whoever is the better driver, but the NA car would have the slight advantage because of the more even power distribution.

Nobody can ansewr this question. why?

because peak hp/torque mean jack ****.

The AWD could have a redline of 6000rpm but make peak power at 3000rpm and then have a massive drop off after that.

The NA could have a redline of 6000rpm, and peak at 5000rpm, but who knows what it is before that?

there are gearing ratios, wheel circumference, rolling resistance, power band, redline, etc.

This is honestly one of the dumbest threads I have ever seen.

^ what he said

I'm partial to the AWD though just because it can rev damnably high, spool the turbo and then make clutch soup w.out just sitting there and spinning.

It's the same car and equal drivers, one has a turbo and one is N/A.

Also this can't be dumber than your post of "4.77 gears on my (stock) s2000 can run 12's all day long and they only cost $300"

Im still waiting for a response in that thread Mr. s2000.

i already did respond to that. try reading. http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...73#post2740473

also, same car one is turbo one is n/a. again. you can't answer the question. it's a theoretical question that involves too many variables that you haven't stated. again, peak torque/hp mean jack ****. assuming they have equal gearing, wheel circumference, etc, they still will NOT have an equal power band. we'd need to see a dyno of each to be able to give you an answer.

so. i'm locking your pointless thread.
