Alright, well as a sort of prelude to this story, I have to state that my civic is currently "garaged" as a negative reprecussion for terrible grades last quarter. I currently drive a replacement to the beloved Civic; it is a hideous masterpiece with many titles, yet the two most popular are "La Bomba" and "the Buggie". Well, upon the arrival of the day before my physics 7B midterm, I decided to take the rest of today off to study, starting at 9 am, that is. Little did I know the comical tragedy that awaited me...
I casually walked to the lil Buggie which was parked in the outdoor lot of the UCI Social Sciences school. I weaved between parked cars in search of the beast until I found its disgusting figure sitting next to a crookedly parked Jetta GLS. I set my notebook and cell phone atop the sorry excuse for a car, and noticed an IS 300 approaching my parking spot, then lying in wait to swoop itself into the spot that I would eventually vacate, the ravenous vulture it is.
I hurry myself in order to not annoy the driver of the IS, quickly taking off my jacket and throwing it into the car as I ****** my cell phone and open the now unlocked driver door. As I'm about to get into the vehicle, I notice a little yellow envelope on the windshield; its contents were a parking ticket, of course, because I forgot my UCI permit. Slightly annoyed, I start the car and back out, then drive away normally.
I head to a local USA gasoline station, where I once again put my cell phone on top of the ugly car as I fill gas. I rest my fingers on the roof, also, yet I notice that there is a chalk-like substance on it; further inspection proves that there is chalk on the bottom of my phone, too. "Oh well," I thought, and drove all the way home.
As I get out of my car, I look around for my notebook, yet fail to locate it. Then it hit me like a slap on the face on a cold, starry night
: I must have left it atop the car as I drove away from school!!
At first, I refused to believe the crazy tale, but as I remembered the chalk-covered roof of the car, I noticed that there were smear marks of what shape to be a notebook, and they smear towards the rear end of the car.
So, my notes and work and lovely pen are all... gone. I called and searched all the offices/parking lots, yet to no avail. They won't be coming back

It's fun in its own sense: I can jump curbs and speed into speed bumps, but I still miss the civic
.Oh, yeah, and as if the car wasn't ugly enough, the paint is a very faded ugly brown

Oh.... no, it wasn't that kind of notebook... lol. It was just like my binder and notes and pen, etc. Yeah, I'd never take valuables in that car...

thats why cars have doors.. so you can open them and put yer stuff inside the car insted of on the roof...
tisk tisk tisk
tisk tisk tisk
throw all the crap in the back seat or passenger's seat. That is the lesson that I have learned.
I got even more lucky today and scored my third UCI parking ticket in the last twelve hours.
i thought you meant notebook...bah if it was just some paper with writing on it...who cares!
