Coilovers+Alignments ?'s
ill be getting my tein basics/spc camber kit from truehonda soon, and at first i want to drop my car like 1.5", which i shouldnt have to worry about camber yet, but like in the summer i want to drop it to where its 1 finger around...
should i get an alignment twice? and adjust the camber twice or what?

WAit until summer to put them on. It is the front toe you have to be worried about and putting on a new set of coils will change the where the arm sits with the tie rod. Also if you think about it, when you lower the car, it will make the front wheels point in. If they come too far in, then you will eat some of your tires. Although positive toe is worse. You can either pay for two alignments or just wait.

well both deceptions2k1 civic and another friend of mine work at just tires, just tires has a dealy where you can get lifetime alignemnts for $110, and if you get a new car, it just costs $10 to swap the lifetime alignments over to it...
but since deceptions2k1 civic is hookin it up alignments for $45 forever, plus camber and toe adjustments...hell im goin to him, plus maybe ill see my friend will on deceptions for the first time in since last year

I lowered my car about 4 months ago. Got an alignment. I put a camber kit on about 2 weeks ago, got another alignment. If you are dropping your car befroe the camber kit, definately get an alignment. It was cheaper the second time I got one, since there wasnt too much adjusting. 70 or 80 out the door for the first one, i think 80, and 60 for the second. They doublechecked front camber and toe when I put my rear camber kit on. Definately get one ASAP if you lower the car now. Than get another one. It is cheaper than new tires. I need new rear tires though since my camber was at -3 before.
