Anyone have problems with the windshield scratching before? I have about 20 scratches some up to 7 inches long. My wiper blades have dried out and could be the source of the problem. All the scratches are deep enough to feel with your finger nail. Some go vertical and other horizontal, so there is no way they are from rocks. My car is only 7 months old and has 6500 miles on it, does that sounds normal to you?

One Honda dealer who I did not purchase the car from said it looked like something I did to my own car. The dealer where I purchased the car says I have to come back again this week so a District Service Manager can determine if it will be covered under warranty.

On Thursday when I take it back over, I would be disappointed if they do not cover it under warranty.

Anyone have any tips on how to handle this situation?

My windshield is scratched where the wipers usually run. The wipers are brand new too. I doubt they will cover it under warranty. There is another post about this same problem somewhere on this site.

got pictures? someone may have vandalized your car jealousy bites. if it looks like it may have been caused by the wipers you should get a new windshield courtesy of Honda.

I think a dragonfly nailed my windshield and made a pretty bad chip by the passenger side door...damn bugs. Na, A rock came off a dump truck and hit it, damnit...not too noticable, but still there ya know?

no pics, they are real fine scratches and they are very long. I take it in tomorrow.

Now a relay is clicking in my dash when my windshield wipers are on the adjustable setting. I never thought I heard that before
