make a fiberglass mount for it that fits into the stock mount... but to make so it does not vibrate yer gunna have to make it so its not adjustable..
I've had a system in every one of my vehicles since I was 16.. so I've been listening to subs for almost 7 years and you just get used to the rear view mirror.. so used to it to the point where you hardly use it because you can't see out of it and you use your side mirrors instead.

hmm... now that ive thought about it a lil more.. you could wedge a piece of foam between the mirror and the bracket.. that would cut down the vibration a lot.. and if you painted the foam and shaped it you wouldnt be able to see it so much..
if you wanted to go all out you could take the arm off.. get some expanding foam.. spray the foam all over the back and around the bracket.. cut and sand it into shape.. but have it braced against the windshield.. put some fiberglass resen over that to make it harder.. then paint it...... .... in theory it wouldnt shake at all.. it would look a lil different.. but you could make it go below the mirror a bit and put a gauge or shift light there....
