hey I ran across this ad and was curious if anyone knows if this was the first production honda in the us?

Rep Power: 279 I think the honda 600 was. The civic was the first real popular honda though. I had the 77 Accord. It ran until 02!

I thought it was the CVCC but it turns out i was wrong.
according to This website this was the first Honda in the US.
I have seen a couple CVCCs on the road, never one of these
slap a K20 in that bad boy

Rep Power: 298 CVCC is just a term for emissions like LEV, ULEV, etc.
Why are you guys referring to it as a car model?
Someone in my neighborhood has the Civic model that Hawk posted.
It really does look like a Mini until you get up close and notice the CIVIC on the hatch.
