my sedan peeps please read
yanno that side trim we have.. on the doors... has anyone attempted to take one or more peices off? i got a scuff on my front pass side and i wanna paint it.. but taping off=bitch alot easier if i could take it off and sand blast and paint..

u cant. on sedans if u take it off. there will be a few holes in the side of ur door. then u gotah fill those n get it shaved.
u can only take off the side moldings on coupes and not have holes behind it

bah i just re-read ur post. i might have gotten confused. are u talking about the trim on the windows? or the side molding under the door handles.

I tried pulling that out and I think it was stuck on something. Try to pull up and towards you with your fingers. Mine kinda bent back but couldn't get it out.

i believe it is "locked" in just like the hood trim.. meaning to take it off you have to unbolt it then push it to the side.. or in this case towards the front/rear of the car..
i wish we could take it off and not have holes
