can you get a ticket if you peel off with your car really really fast but do not exceed the speed limit?????

yes, its somethin to do with takeoff...but just remember, a cop can pull you over for almost anything

i was told by a traffic school teacher (who was a judge and former NV state trooper) it would be an extortion of power violation and treated as a street racing violation, which, in nevada would be a minimum of $1250 fine... that's NV though.. prolly something along the lines of that where you're from

yes I got one in Kansas back in 1990 excessive show fo exceleration. get this it was in a 1965 bug, but I did a burnout for about 10 feet. a screetch on takeoff should not be a problem. you could just say the light turned green, you looked up, and realized you didn't see it turn green, but I don't know for sure.
