Today after a long hard day at work my friend calls up and says hey you wanna go look at some parts for my civic. So we go looking at some parts when we suddenly just decide to go freeway cruising at speeds of 115 cause thats all the dam 6th gen would go. We went to a hot spot for racing and messed around for awhile. Then i tell him let me drive home so back on the freeway i was determined to get the bitch to go over 115 but thats all it would go and we were driving for 15 miles at this speed so anyways on the freeway i hear the Radar KA Band and to the left i see po po's lights and he pointed the spotlight at me. This is when i say **** it no dam cop is gonna stop me tonight i kepted going i exit off the free way hoping he would not see me (i knew the civic could not out run a crown victoria) i dont even stop at the stop sign and i floor it and start hitting every dam back road i could think of and i couldnt see anyone behind me so i headed home I couldn't believe i did such a thing and i couldn't believe i got away. What a rush biggest rush i have ever gotten and last time i go that fast on a holiday weekend.

PS: back when I had my Z28, if I ever had a bad run-in with the cops and knew they had my tag, I was gonna drive to a dirt road or empty space, call a buddy to come get me, then report my car stolen later

off topic, to get past 115mph, just chip the computer if you so it yourself its only like $35, sure its crappy milage but it give alot more power. my friend with the 5th gens perfer the mugen chip, adds about 13hp, no speed limiter, and has an 9100 rpm red liine.

lol, no but seriously u think that cops dont ever look at car forums? lets say a cop in a different state from where this happened checks 7thgen out. he heard some story from one of his buddies about something similar to this happening. lets his buddy know, his buddies like "yeah thats exactly what happened". u think running from the police isnt a serious enough offence for them to get ur IP address? and bam ur screwed. im not saying itll happen to everyone who ever posts some story like this, but it is a possibility.

hey sorry. but ihave to ask a question..say that u were tryin to run away cuz u knew the cop was coming..and while u were runnin away the cop was following u with his lights off, while u made turns and blah blah.in other werd its obvious u were trying, but when the cop puts his lights on u pull over..can he bring u to court and say u were runnin away even though his lights were off? and when they went on u pulled over?

i just have to ask. cuz a cop did that to me but i wasnt running. he followed me and i kept drivign and then he put his lights on.and he said i was running.

They did that to my friend to and he just turned around and started following my friend and my friend got a lawyer and they are still fighting it in court cause they wanna suspend his license till he is 21

Well he has court January 20 i will let you know what happens. He is 17 and they cops gave him Criminal speeding, 5 counts of endangerment(for the people in the car), and some other bullshit. When the cops stopped him he hand cuffed my friend and put him in the patrol car.

how fast was ur friend going? if he was going like 40+ (in some states 30+) over the speed limit then he will most likely lose his license, but not for running from the cops. with teh endangerment charges i think thats what it might be.

ah, my friend had the same thing happen. well similar, he got pulled over but the cop didnt actually get him on radar, but he kinda ****ed his car up so he needed a tow truck. the cop was like "how fast were you going?" my friend said like "70, 75" cause he really didnt know. well teh cop wrote down 75, and this was ina 35 so thatd be an automatic license bye bye. but i was in the car and i just went to court with my friend, and the prosecutor just dropped the case right there and then cause i said my friend was going 71.

yea the cop said i tried to run while his lights were off.however he didnt arrest me..just gave me 3 tickets and told me to plead guilty or if i dut he will tell thejudge i ran..and the judge will upgrade it to a jail sentencing..however hes lying cuz i wasnt arrested, nor did he check my car..if it was true..he woulda pulled me out of the car and sent me to jail..its so obvious he also gave me an uynreasonable speeding ticket with no speed on it..wtf.

That was just some stupid cop. Seriously, there is no way of knowing wether that cop was trying to pull you over or just driving without having his/her lights on.

Running from the cops isn't very smart.
