Finally!!!
So I finally got my b-day present installed on Sunday. The guy at www.maxbore.com did a fantastic job. It was a really easy install, with the exception of the fact that one of the holding bolts broke on me on the re-install. Fortunately, I was able to take the TB back off and there was enough sticking out that I could get the bottom half of the bolt out. So it added an extra trip to Napa.
Despite some negative reviews by some people who have had a bored TB done on their vics, I love it. For basically, $100 bucks (once I sell my stock TB) it very nicely compliments the rest of my air flow upgrades. I didn't notice a loss in the low end at all. And I noticed some definite gain in the upper end. It also adds a little more to the nice sound that is coming out of my engine. All and all, I am definietly pleased.
