It's actually pretty good. I've driven RWD cars and a RWD truck, and the traction in those suck even more. Just drive slowly and don't accelerate quickly. Stock tires are all weather tires.

traction in snow.ice in any car sucks without the right tires. No need to rip on vics.....

acually the vics are great in snow, the tires you have are probably crappy stock firestones, I live in toronto, snows pretty bad and since Ive put on my snow tires I have no problems. The thin size of our tires I find helps slice through the snow. vics are also light meaning they dont slide as far, and their FWD which is a savior in snow if youve ever driven RWD

yea stock tire are all weather, i had to drive in snow, which was a first for me, and it was alright, not bad at all

my dad has michelins (all season) on his civic, he loves em and says its one of the best cars he's had for winter driving... if ur riding stock tires... ditch em. I have some all season BF Goodrich and Im sure they'll b good in the snow

If this is becuase you have the stock Firestones on your car, then thats the problem right there. Its the tires, not your car. A GOOD set of all-seasons or snows (depending on where you drive) will make a world of difference.

i havent had to handle snow yet, unfortunately cuz i love snowboarding but when it does come i'm gonna have a helluva time with my first manual trans in snow

I have Goodyear Gt HR's!!! My friends car is an 04 as well and has the stockies and its much better in the snow.
