CUE2K1 Coming from T.O to Vancouver City
That's right!! My first trip to Vancouver City ever... I've always wanted to check out the city so here it is. I'm considering moving there but I wanted to see it first before deciding on anything.
December 10th - 12th and we'll be staying at the Sutton Hotel or the Sheraton WallCentre hotel with my new wife and a couple of friends.
Hope to see some of the nice 7thgens in the city, if you see me.. honk! hehe
Now I need your help... what can I do while I'm there? give me some ideas or suggestions on a must-see, must-visit places in Vancouver.

Damn man, you're civic is pipin hot!
You've chosen some pretty high class hotels. Well, if you're into the party club scene, then check out the clubs on Granville Street. The Roxy, Caprice, etc... No stop to Vancouver is complete without a stop at one of the many strip clubs (it may **** off your wife though). Brandi's is the high class one. Ben Affleck got caught there last year some time. I havent been to it yet, but i hear it's pretty sweet.
If you're into the scenery, go far a walk around the Stanley Park sea wall. It'll take about an hour and a half, but it's definately worth it. I try to go for a jog down there on the weekends if the weather is good(I'm going tomorrow). Who knows, i might jog by you in december.
The mountains will be opening up, so if you're into snowboarding, skiing, or tubing, check out Grouse, Cypress, or Seymour mountains. There's also Whistler, if you want to drive for over an hour north of Van City. It's worth it though. But, the mountains around Vancouver are awesome too. Gives you a great view of the city below. It looks so small from way up there.
If you're into malls, check out Pacific centre, and Metrotown Mall(biggest mall in BC). You'll have to hop onto skytrain to get to Metrotown. It's easy to get to. No trip to Vancouver is complete without a skytrain ride. It's about a 20 min. ride on skytrain from downtown to metrotown mall. In a car it would be at least twice as long.
I moved to Vancouver in September to go to college here (from Vancouver Island). It's totally been worth it.
Once you come here though, you'll definately want to stay. Especially if you come here and the weather is good. Which might not be the case seeing as December is the 2nd wettest month of the year. But, it all pays off though, cause our summers are awesome!

Mrad... this is great dude... Just the kind of response I was looking for.
I just might jog on Stanley Park in the morning with my wife. If I do it will be December 11th AM. I'll try to make sure I know where Stanley Park is when I get there on the 10th so maybe we can set up a 7thgen Meet, although I won't be bringing my car over anyway so it's pointless. But I would like to see some of your cars over there still.
I'll print out this post and make sure I visit these places you suggested dude... thanks.
BTW, I am not staying at the Sutton or Sheraton anymore but instead we'll be at the Fairmont WaterFront hotel, my friend and his girl will be at the Sutton. I don't know how much this affects my distance to these places that you suggested so I guess I'll see in less than 2 weeks.
Also.... thanks for the compliment regarding mah ride. Mind you the car looks totally different now.
It now has a big hole on the front bumper. hehe
