are there really people out there willing to buy our used civics?

the jdm 180sx deal was a bust because of the shady seller... but other than that i was looking to sell the civic and buy myself a 240sx....

in order to get the 240sx, i need to sell the civic to pay off the title on the car and buy the new car and at the same time have a lil money saved up to buy a s13 clip with an sr20det blacktop....

the more i think about it, i dunno how many people out there that are willing to buy a used 2k2 civic with 52K miles on it...

whats the market like for used 7th gens? are they in high demand? how much do you think i'll be able to sell the car for if i put everything back to stock?

just sell it around 10g stock. I don't think ppl are willing to pay much more. there are actually more ppl looking for an auto since its a good commuter.

i recently looked in some car magazine that showed the resale value... the 2002 ex lost about 20%... which isn't all that bad considering 2002 Ford's lost like in the 40s%... So i think depreciation is estimated at roughly 20%

i don't know... i seen almost new 2004 ex here selling for like 12g. so i doubt you can sell a 02 ex for around 14k (<- 20% lost).

dude its a civic, i'm sure you'll be able to sell it. I actually looked mine up today.. 36k miles in good to excellent condition. came out to like 10k-12k. I'm sure you can get atleast 8k for yours.

yeah 10-12k is about right. I paid 15k for my civic 2 years ago and i think my car is still worth 13-14k on the market right now. I was surprised.

dude check it on kbb or recycler, autotrader.com, whatever, you can do an advanced search and look for used cars in almost the exact condition of your car, just put all the info, and youll see what theyre being sold for

you dont know how to deal.....
whatever you see on kbb should be what you get for your car.
The dealer sells used cars even more expensive, because they back them.
should have no problem getting rid of it. Some highschool kid probally wants it.

car dealerships don't give nearly as much as a private party transaction would... they would literally take my car 7000 or less just so they can make money on it.... i've seen how used car dealerships work... lol

doesn't car dealers repaint the bumpers and/or replace the rims if they are scratched or something before they sell it? 'cause i always see perfect bumpers from used car dealers even when they are like few years old.
