04 sedan and Eibach Sportlines?
04 sedan and Eibach Sportlines?
Hey guys, im sorry, i tried searching for this, but couldnt really find a sure answer. Im thinking on dropping my 04 sedan. A friend of mine is selling Eibach Sportlines. Will they wokr good on a 04 sedan? Would my rear sag too much and rub? or would it be fine? I dont want it SUPER low, just low enough so i can have a nice ride, comfort and look. the Sportlines look real nice on his car. I know the sedans are heavier on the back, but how much would it really sag? or sag at all? Please help out.
I went for a drive down Sepulveda, that was waay too fun, but it made me realize that i need suspension mods. S o please help out a noobie.

Yes, your rear might sag. You can help some of that by getting aftermarket shocks. Sportlines should be fine on your sedan.
i dont mind if it sags a little bit, i just dont want to it sag low enough to cause rubbing. The rear is heavier, but it shouldnt sag enough to cause any problems right? Just slightly lower than the front?
what size wheels are you going to use and are you going to use aftermarket struts such as koni yellows? dropped my '04 on stock struts and it was nice and low, pics are at http://www.cardomain.com/id/pcaly2112. The wheels are 18" with 215/35 tires. Very bouncy ride without the koni's however

I agree with pcaly. It might depend on what size rims/tires you plan on running. I would say that with a set of shocks you should be fine.
I'll be using my stock 04 EX alloys, the 15'' ones. I might get wider tires depending on the money situation. Would it sag too low to the point of rubbing or causing problems? Im guessing it should be fine. I need a camber kit also. im just collecting all the parts right now and waiting to install everything at the same time.
Thanks for the help

man, Pcaly2112, ur car is lookin sweet. I think i'll go with this setup. Im also getting Neuspeed upper strut bar, rear sway bar and some other stuff, we'll see how it works out. Did u ever have it on stock alloys b4?
No, i never had it on the stock alloys, i just have the hub-caps and such. Currently on the pro-kit and thinking about getting a set of coilovers and drop it so that both front and back are even. the car looks pretty good with the sportlines but i wanna have even wheel gap in front and back
