Question Custom T3 Kit Parts Review!!! What do you think?

Attached is a html custom turbo kit preliminary budget, its close to my limit to allow for shipping and extras (nuts, bolts, vaccum lines, etc..) I already have a manifold (its a good looking one, but most people think they suck). If you want give a looksie over and tell me if im missing anything... it would be very helpful!!!! thanks!! -- Jeremy

$5271.26. Why not just go pick up a kit. Also I am sure you can find cheaper parts, than what you had listed.

When I did my custom kit. I think I only spend about $3700.

Yeah he's right. A custom kit should cost you a lot less money than that for what you're buying. Keep shoppin man!

Nice choice on the turbo BTW. But, that manifold, is it OBX? If so, chose something else. That manifold is junk.

im pretty sure this is a custom kit. and buying a maxrev kit or what not, i dont get to pick the fuel system or anything. yeah its an obx manifold, ill most likeley have to have it re-welded after 6 months or a year or so. i probably could find cheaper parts elsewhere, but buying most stuff from the same places i save a lot on shipping. i dunno guys, you said 3700 for a custom kit, maybe if i didnt get a new clutch ,emanage ,profec , and the fuel return i could swing 3700. i just wanted to know if i was missing anything i may have forgotten. sorry guys. i think ive got it all, but i dunno. -- Jeremy

Jeremy,
If your going to spend $4K or so, why not just purchase out kit?

Our kit is NEAR complete and has awesome quality components. I would also hook you up on a clutch etc if you needed it as well.

http://www.dezod.com/pd_dezod_motorsports.cfm

You could get our base kit with no accessories if need be and build off of that. That atleast will get you this:

Dezod Motorsports Custom SS Log Style Manifold
Custom 2.5" Downpipe w/ High Flow Cat & 02 sensor capability**

it looks good, but i dont really like kits, i dont like that tial bov, true you could probably replace if for me, but i want to build my own kit. i dont like kits because i see the tsi extreme kit and see a bunch of pipes a t25 and a sticker for $2,750 . totally not worth it. if i make my own kit, i know what the money is used for ... AEM wideband o2 sensor w/gauge, $430, done. most of my stuff is not even related to the turbo, its for monitoring or tuning. i was just asking people to look over my list and make sure i didnt for get like a gasket or flange or something id forget like that. thanks though dezod, your kit looks good for a kit, i like the options you provide when selecting the kit. but sorry im not into pre-made kits. thanks anyways! -- Jeremy
