not sure what that means; can you mount stock size tires (185/65/15") on these wheels?

205 = width of tire / 55 = sidewall size / 15 = size tire

I hope that helps!

I have checked with a local tire shop and they told me that (185/65/15") will fit. Since I am thinking of doing the same, but make me an offer.

Yeah I know what the #s mean, I just wasn't sure if perhaps the rims were too 'wide' to install a 185 width tire on - not sure if that makes any sense.

I take it you didn't have these installed on a 7th gen Civic? Diameter is about 2" too small

I did have it installed on my own 7th gen civic. Yes if you install 185 width tire on, the rim is wider but it will fit and there should be no safety issue.

any 15" tires will fit on 15" wheels, but you do need to stick close to the stock tire size for accurate speedometer.
