Revamp on turbo kit complete, details inside
Hi guys,
Well for the past couple of months, ive been revamping my current turbo setup. I had a Cybernation kit on there, but i wasnt satisfied on how it came out, so i decided to redo the entire kit:
Precision turbo gt35 turbo, precision turbo intercooler, stainless steel piping, Thermal r&d turbo back 3", hondata k pro, rc engineering 750cc saturated injectors, 10 gallon fuel cell, aeromotive A-1000 fuel pump, 2 aeromotive fuel filters, tial 38mm wastegate, manual boost controller, etc.
So anyways, i have two problems so far.... One, my VSS is fubared and has to be replaced. No big deal. And two, the GM 3 bar map sensor is working properly with k-pro. We'll get that situated soon enough. So for now, we are running right around 10 psi and we hit about 342-343 whp on pump gas (93 shell V-powah ). Im not really sure, I was so entranced by the car's sound, i really didnt pay much attention. Basically this was just a test dyno on how well the car ran, because more boost is gonna be on the menu soon. We had some problems with the k-pro in the past, but since we replaced the harness and got another k-pro, everything is smooth sailing. Im really happy with how everything has come out so far. As soon as I get the dyno sheets, ill scan them in. The guy who has tuned my car still has them and we didnt get home till about 4 am Sunday morning, so give us some time..... Thought I might just want to share this with you guys.

I think you have won the HP wars at 10psi.
K20turbo>all
Mad props to you bro. I was happy with 250whp on my D17. I cant even imagine what 350+ is like. Do you spin through 4th gear now. Must be crazy torque also.

It was pretty cool, last night when i was coming home from school. A Silver SRT4 ended up rolling next to me, and I dont have to tell what happened next. I couldnt tell what it had done, I could only tell that he had a bov, but anyways. We started right around what im guessing is 50 mph. I decided to leave it just in 6th gear and he dropped it a gear so obviously he jumped on me at the beginning, but whats crazy about the whole situation is this.... He had me for about 4 seconds with half a car length. When my car hit about 4000 rpm, it was just pulling so hard by the end i was at least two car lengths ahead of him. I really dont know how fast i was going because the VSS in my car right now is fubar-ed and i have to get it replaced...
Afterwards, we stopped at a light and he asked me what i had done to the car, I told him and he was really cool. Dont get me wrong, Im not hating on the srt4. I actually respect dodge for what they are doing for the sport compact market. We both exchanged kind words and that was it. We both went our separate ways. I have to say a really cool guy. Just thought Id share...

Did you ever figure out the duty cycle of the 750's that iceberg asked about over on Clubrsx? I'm really anxious to know about that.

Hey thanks a lot whitevic,
Um i believe my injector duty cycle was at 60-65. Im not quite sure though. I can find out exact tomorrow. Again, im just waiting on a new VSS and the calibration settings for the GM 3 bar map sensor. After those two are fixed, i should be hitting higher numbers and higher boost....Ill keep you guys posted.
Thanks again for all of the compliments...

Oh about the other questions.
Yes, the complete motor is built. It has sleeves, lowered compression pistons (9:1), and forged rods.
Yes, I am planning on daily driving this car, except in the $hitty winter months...I dont want this car to rust out from under me
And the fuel cell is a 10 gallon. I think stock is 12 gallons.
