I dropped of the head to be milled. Should I be scared?

Ok so Honda says don't mill over 2 mm. Gearbox on this site supposedly had his done 1mm over by DH Racing. Well 3 mm equals abouts .118 thousandths. He seems to be ok running it munis the rough idle. So I had them do it .10 thousandths or 2.54mm. So now the head is ported and polished, milled, and ready to go. I'll put it on in the next couple weeks and let you all know how much it helps. I priced nitrous today and the best I found was 487 for a ZEX 82021 kit new. I think ebay will have to be the solution.

I think with our engines, the increase in compression isn't gonna matter much anyway. If you can install the head bolts without them bottoming out, you should be okay.

Don't go with ZEX , get NOS or NX. If you got the money get direct port instead of single fogger, lot better for spray.

Since I went with less of a mill than you have I'm sure I'll be ok. However anytime you can make the combustion area smaller you're going to have an impact. While I agree it may not be noticeable on our cars I think we all agree that everybit helps. Thanks Gearbox, I think you're the only member that I was able to talk to about it beforehand. Anyways I'm looking at the Wet nitrous kit anyway. Since our returnless fuel system can't regulate pressure, if I used a dry kit, the injectors couldn't compensate for the extra oxygen and I'd run lean. I have a really cool idea to make a bottle holder in the trunk that floats above the subs and is directly bolted to the strut mounts.
