I am now vicless!!! :(
I did the right thing and gave my ex-husband my vic after he crashed his 8thgen vic into a poll for he fell asleep at the wheel. I got the house, cars and all of our stuff in the divorce so I did the right thing, but, IT HURTS to do the right thing. I am still down with all you guys though so you are not rid of me! I am rocking a Corsica and a Grand Prix GT now. I am thinking about an Si, RSX-S or a TL for my next car in about a year and 9 months.

uhhhh, ok
Nobody should drive if their gonna fall asleep. My girl and I called the cops on some guy sleeping in the middle of the intersection at 19th ave & Cactus like 3 weeks ago. He was sleeping for like 30 minutes, than the cops came, were banging on his door, and still wouldnt wake up. Took him like another 25 minutes to wake up. I get pissed when I see people like that. Pull over and sleep, than drive home later or in the morning, so you dont kill 20 people while your sleeping. Sorry to hear about your civic, that sucks. Tell him not to drive while tired/?drinking? anymore.

When you are ready for another car my gf sells at Bell Honda and a good friend of mine is a manager at Bell Acura. Oh and my roommate sells in fleet at Camelback Toyota(No fleet is not cheaper just a different methodology of buying a car). And another guy at an Infinity store(I just helped my friend buy her G35 6spd coupe last week). Blah blah blah you get the idea. I sold for 2.5 yrs. Thats a long time in the industry and you get to know alot of people all over...
PS dont worry about the vic... everything happens for a reason!
(My disclaimer... despite experiences you may have had at either of these dealerships I would tell someone to go elsewhere if I wasnt sure they would get treated properly while at some place I referred them to...

He wasn't drinking and driving at all. He unfortunately did not realize how tired he was until he fell asleep and woke up with his vic smashed into a poll.
Thanks for the where to buy my next car at when I am ready to do so.
Please excuse the ignorance, but, aren't the 2006 vics considered 8thgens? That was my understanding, please enlighten me. I will settle for 7.5 since his was a 2005.

They slow down about half way up and start to stick, if the window is wet they stop completely.[/QUOTE]
Ah I see... spray silicon lube usually works wonders on the two side window tracks and the regulators inside the doors to help free up the tension... plus silicon is pretty water resistant so its a while before it washes away(since we get so much rain here!)
Give it a shot if you dont want to drive all the way up from Gilbert... thats a hell of a haul!
Peace
