suspension guru's - what size bolt fits on front koni?

my car started to make some really nasty clunking noises a few days ago. specifically at the front right corner. i looked under there today and the bolt that holds the bottom of the koni to the bottom of the oem shock body is missing. so much for torqing up to koni specs PLEASE, if you have any idea what size the bolt is and what pitch, whatever, any info, really i'd appreciate it!

umboutwo is an unknown quantity at this point
The same thing happened to me and i could not find one anywhere. So i took it back to the shop that installed them and they ordered a new bolt from koni. When the new bolt arrived we noticed it was different, but it worked and has not come off yet. After about a month the other side came loose also and i had the shop replace that bolt too. Its been about a year and half now and there still on. Hope this help you out. If you got any question just PM me.

I believe its 12mm. I'd just call Koni up and see what they say.

its M12x30mm button head. thanks FattyMcJ.
it sucks, i got part of the bolt in there but about half way through cranking it i realized that the entire shock was rotating with the bolt. I guess i have no choice but to pull out the whole strut and redo it.

There should be no need to redo it. Just grab the top of the insert while tightening the bolt. Also use a lock washer instead of a star washer. the lock washer will work much better.
