Finally got some times with my mods at the track.

Put the front ES motor mount in before I left. Didn't have time to mess with the rear.

Temp was between 70-75 with Humidity 90% (It was about to rain)
Street setup
17's
Tires at 42PSI`
Little over a 1/4 Tank

Best run

60' 2.415
ET 16.252
MPH 85.23

No 15's

I think it's the V2. In warm weather it just sucks hot air. I tried to let it cool for a while but I ended up running a 16.4 with a 2.7 60ft. After that run it was hot as hell again.
Couldn't get my launch down either. I would either bog or just spin through first. I couldn't find that happy medium in between. The 16.2 I actually bogged off the line but somehow acheived the lowest ET of the night?
Just need some more practice and I'll get there, maybe ditch the v2 or extend it for cold/ram air. I should have let some air out of the tires that may have helped too.
Always next time.

That's still a good time. Get the header jet-coated (stock or modded) to reduce engine bay temp.

yeah that kamakaze header gets hotter then a mother then the V2 just sucks all that hot air in. It kills my performance, I'm sure. It pulls a little harder when the temp is 60 or below, but it's real bad when it's already warm outside.

Wrong, as civicvtec1ps stated, you really need to work on your 60ft times.

Just practice.

yeah I know, best I ever did was a 2.399 when I was stock.

Now this other run I did I trapped at 87.03, my highest ever. What does that mean?

60ft 2.461
ET 16.345
MPH 87.03

2mph faster than the 16.2 with damn near exact 60ft, so why didn't I run a 16.0-16.1?

Damn i feel like a tool. I ran a 16.4 today with a 2.7 60ft !!!?!?!??! That is worst ive ever launched in such a long time. Can someone tell me what i would get with a good launch? My best 60 is 2.344 which is pretty bad from what ive heard.

well, according to Havok2k1, you can't run 15s in our cars without boost or gas, so you shouldn't feel bad.
lol.
Being a mod, he should know his facts better.

yeah I saw that too, maybe he meant stock?
Well I hope to be a member of the 15sec club real soon.
A little practice and cooler weather should do it.
What was your 60ft on the 15.726?

my 60' time was 2.3xx on that run, but i ran 15.759 with a 2.48 60 foot time. I've also ran plenty of 15.8s with 2.5 sec 60' times - go figure. check this out:
