sapre tire under car DIY?
my friend wants me to post this.:
hey guys
i am planning on going all out with my trunk as far as audio installation. i have seen many trunk flushes on this board and many fiberglass installs which obv means the spare tire has been removed. im guessing most of you just say screw the spare lol but i was wondering if anybody has done something unique? i have seen somebody put a spare under the car like most mini vans or suv's. i believe i read that all they did was reverse the pin and put the tire underneath. im sure it is more difficult then it sounds but has anybody ever done this or think its possible on my 2000 3.2TL. i wouldnt care if i was riding around on 16 or 17s but i have 19s and if i get a flat tire it might be deadly!!!! haha if anybody can give me some information on this or any ideas that have been tried before i would be really appreciative. my audio shop said to buy a tire bag and just put it behind my seat but i want that to be my last resort.

Derek did it to his car a long time ago.
I'm sure he'll tell you how to do it now that he's gotten a new car.
I remember no one wanted to share the DIY on it and kept it secret!!!
