whats that shifter accessory called?
Hey Im not sure what this part is called or if its made for our cars - but I was thinking it would be cool to, instead of having a shift boot, have a plate with the gear track cut out. Im Not sure if that makes sense but I think a lot of old cars had them it was like an "h-ish" shape (similar to an "h" but with 3, instead of 2 bars.... H-| ....kinda? ) ...umm..f^ck, I hope someone can figure out what Im tryin to describe cuz I really wanna get one or have one made....

Rep Power: 372 yeah but does the shaft actually go into each gate? There was a vendor at Import Fest here in Toronto selling those for our cars but I noticed it was more for sure... didn't actually go in the gates.

Rep Power: 529 More here, and you can get a lock to lock it into first gear so that valets or whatever don't take your car out for a ride... altho, I guess you couldn't get it into reverse then, either.
