Some Sound Deadening Questions
Some Sound Deadening Questions
I've been looking into adding some sound deadening in the near future. I have researched all types of deadening and diff. products form dynamat, fatmat, second skin, etc...
There are three things I want to acheive - better sound (especially from the Koda's that I will be getting for my door panels), reduced road noise, and less interior rattles. I've been reading that road noise is hard to deaden - I've been looking at a lot of products from second skin that seem promising however. I was wondering if a combination of a couple of different products could reduce road noise significantly, while not being too expensive? Which products would I have to use in order to acheive these goals? Thanks

I'd tend to say FatMat, as it's the cheapest I've found. More good stuff to use, that's also cheap, is expanding foam. Matter of fact, in the rear portion of the car, it's pretty much a must.
