02 Auto tranny slips

My gf just purchased a used 50k mi 02 auto. The tranny seems to me like it revs up just a bit right when it shifts. Is this normal? I was looking around in other threads and it seemed like most people had other problems also, like taking a bit to go into gear and some other stuff, but her car just seems to "slip" a bit right when it shifts???

I know you guys are good at helping so i'll say, "thanks guys" ahead of time.

I have the same problem 1st gear going itnto 2nd knocks like a bad motor mount and 2nd into third right before it changes it revs an extra 500 to 1000 rpm's before it changes, this happens when i give it a little throttle if i step on it it doesn't happen...

Just enjoy the time you have together. Soon the tranny will be gone forever

See if changing your ATF fluid would make a difference.
