How do I make my Civic exterior JDM Spec??
How do I make my Civic exterior JDM Spec?? Hey all,
Sorry if this has been covered before, but I did search before posting and couldn't find anyhting.
I was just wondering, what changes do I need on my car as far as exterior mods to make it look like JDM Spec. I know wheels can't be bigger than 16", roof top should be black and so on, but what else? How about CF Hoods & Spoilers or LipKits, etc...
Does anyone know??

^^^ yeah true. well i guess just throw on an oem kit, some 16 inch slips, blacked out lights, ukdm tails, oem spoiler, drop it. then you will have the jdm "look."

What about those mufflers that are installed slightly angular.

Rep Power: 0 Those exaughst systems at an angle would look stupid on our car, those are so the exaughst path is in a staighter line, on our cars its relitivly straight so please dont go to a muffler shop and have them weld on at an angle!

Just to add to this whole thing, CF hoods and trunks aren't really "J-spec" or "JDM". In fact, if you want to go JDM, you'd be surprised as a lot of Japanese auto enthusiasts put on very GAUDY accessories and parts. As far as JDM parts, you know, RHD, amber sidemarkers, HID, courtesy lights in the footwells (I believe the Ferios came with green, of all colours), Ferio gauge cluster (very hard to find), city lights, Navi system, MD player (never really caught on in North America), Ferio taillights, headlights with the CLEAR reflector, not having had the amber one removed like over here. They have some nice OEM Honda wheels, but you can dish out some serious loot for genuine Spoon rims.

Niko, I've seen some pics of JDM Spec Civics, that's why I said I liked its looks. Like on a yellow hatchback I saw while ago, but I don't know what a 2 door Civic would look like with JDM Specs since supposedly there isn't one.
