CHANGE: sport to race
im thinking that i need to change from the Neuspeed sport springs that im running now over to the Neuspeed race springs to achieve the look im going for...i know that ive said that the sport drop was perfect for what my functions are with the car, but i have the room for a lower drop...opinions??
I originally was going to go with the neuspeed race based on what I had seen around the site. then I was talked into the skunk2 springs which turned out to be defective. Now I am having the skunk2 coilovers installed on Friday. I will say that the springs rode better than stock hopefully the coilovers are the same. Bottom line if I could start over i would of just bought the neuspeed race springs but I also have 17's.

the coilovers wont be the same man, if you dont put them on some tokiko's or koni struts, your factorys will blow in a matter of no time, specially if they have existing miles on them. sleeved coilovers on factory struts = ricer bounce
i would say got for it but remember that you wont have any range of motion in the stock struts so ur ride will bounce a little and ride rough.. if you do that then be prepared to put in some konis in the not too distant future...
btw:
this isnt true unless you lower the car too far to where u have almost no strut travel...

I say you stay with the "sports" and get a lip kit such as the Kaminari or Wings West like "the jibb" has or get the oem one. Yeah it's nice to have a low *** car but think of the long run, especially with 19's. Tires arent to cheap for those guys.
things you would need: camber kit for sure, shocks in the near future, and new tires if you don't get the camber kit cause you will wear the inside.
Your ride looks clean the way it is I think, just get a lip kit for it

I went the whole route at once, I have tokico blues and a camber kit already. the ride is so nice. Falken I think your car looks good right now. but if your not happy with it thats all that matters.

if it's not low enough now, it never will be. I used to go through suspension set ups, like water. Then i got air bagz, and coilovers, problem solved. I was never happy with the stance, and frankly i think my vic could use a drop of another
.5" or .75"

Hey Falken I just noticed that for the sport springs there are different model numbers for the coupe and sedan but for the race it is the same model number. I am actually considering switching over to these instead of my skunk 2 and was wondering if we would have a problem with sagging with race springs

NEUSPEED SPRINGS:
coupe (sport) #55.20.62 (1.75F 1.5R)
sedan (sport) #55.20.61 (1.75F 1.5R)
coupe/sedan (race) #55.20.68 (2.25F 2.0R)
with the race version being the same part for the coupe and the sedan...
i could only assume that they would result in a lower rear stance since the sedans have a heavier rear-end

aye falken on the same nuespeed race springs how would these make my car sit (low wise) on ym 2004 civic coupe on stock 99 si rims with a 50 series tire. anyone's feedback is needed for this if possible. i can currently get these race springs for $50
I just got the race installed this past weekend and it drops it a lot. From a 4 finger gap to one. Not to mention that I have the octane kit and the front bumper sits about 4 inches of the ground. The ride is OK, is a bit more rough since they are more stiff then stock.
Subarus FTW I do NOT miss my civic
