Just wondering when are you guys going to take out your parts in the winter time?
I am going take off my hood, lip, side skirt, rear skirt. and put back at stock height and also take off my brake disc so my 14" can go in..haha
I am thinking to take it off in about 2 week is that too early? haha

I'm taking out my 19s, and audio and interior.....its ALL getting redone....maybe repainted
......as for engine, I'll have some surprises for you all.
The car will be off the road all winter so I'll be free to do what I want

Oh i hate this topic...makes me sad to put the car back in Winter mode. I usually just play it by ear. Id like to wait as long as possible but I usually keep my eye on the weather network and try to get everything done by first snowfall.
Do you find it easy to remove your skirts and re-apply them in the spring? I was thinking of doing that too but Im kinda afraid of what the 2sided tape is going to do.

I only start winterizing when I actually see snow or when it's in the forecast...haha, I think 2 weeks from now is WAY too early - the leaves aren't even off the trees yet!
I plan to swap my hood, change to my winter tires (on stock alloys)...I don't have the ride height problem you guys have (neuspeed sports only) so I usually leave my lip kit on - I'm also worried about the tape issue like Mario...
Is it better to set Konis softer for winter driving? This will be my first winter with them and just want to know what you guys think I should set them at...

well i would assume it would be better to go softer because you dont have same contact patch you do on dry pavement, hence you want the koni to give a little play when on the snow or ice...
i dunno....i think rally drivers go softer for snow....
i think its way too early to go winter mode.....probably wont see snow til end of december at the earliest....we never do.....
you guys think i'll be ok with my lip kit on for the winter? i have the coupe veloz kit and neuspeed race....

That make sense to set them softer...it's what I thought too - anyone with Konis actually test this?
With your kit and drop you should be fine Liro...mine's only a bit higher than yours and I didn't come close to plowing anything...just make sure you clear your wheelwells of snow as good as you can before parking the car overnight. I'm thinking now that's probably what tore up your fenderwell in the first place.

My rims are coming off this friday - earlier than I normally would but for a good cause. Raising my baby back up in a couple months, hopefully by then I'll have done the standard fall detail and hardcore wax job.
