I need a rear camber kit(01 sedan)
Where should I go to buy one? I had an alignment shop quote me $120 a piece in parts for the rear. Is that normal? Anyone with a rear camber kit?
i bought an SPC Camber kit off of ebay, it came both with front and rear for my civic and it costed me $127 shipped to my door, than i installed the rear myself and it took about 30 minutes for both sides. Very easy to do, all you have to do is remove 3 bolts, take out the old arm, put in the new camber arm, and re-attach it! cake walk..
they maybe quoting you perside meaning, buying the parts, paying labor to install it and than paying for the alignment on each side, $120 each side so like $250 for the entire rear installed and aligned.. just what i'm guessing.

yeah...that's what I thought...
BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
they said $450 installed with alignment
$120 per side for the parts, then labor and align. I'm gonna buy one and do it myself. I just thought it was interesting how much they wanted for it.

holy crap, yeah thats a lot man - do it yourself, I had ZERO knowledge how to do it, but it's pretty self-explanitory once you jack up the car and take the tire off, it took no time at all to do it, but once you have it on there, take the car and get it aligned so they can get the camber correct or if you want to risk your tires, do it by your vision. hehe

I'm thinking I'll probably try to do it myself with a square and tape measure...haha. I know it sounds bad, but oh well. My tires are pretty cheap anyway.

Ima give them a call in one or two weeks. Would about 3 weeks of driving about 1.75 in lowered be really bad on my tires? I think a week would be doable?
