Ha yep. So played out. I sick of seeing tezzas on half the cars on the road. All those aluminum wings and fartcan exhausts...I don't imagine it will ever go away. There are so many companies making money off it because of those two movies. Even pepboys is cashing in from the rice aisle.
i think its played out too imo. i was watching this channel on tv where they were tuning with thise gto to make it a drift car or something. one of the apc guys i believe, some automotive tuner company, mentioned the world has invested nearly 3 billion dollars on the automotive modification industry. meaning like all the parts created, sold, etc.

i dont think so. rice will always exist cuz their are "ricers" everywhere. but as long as cars are still around street racing will never die. there will ALWAYS be someone who wants to prove hes faster than you.

Le Manns the movie 30 years later after its production still sold over million copies in dvd release.
Some people go a lifetime wishing to see a mclaren f1 and koenigzig in action.
Even race car drivers risk death.......
"the cars have changed but the playing field hasnt"-enzo ferrari
america has become a car culture now that is a trend. However purists like most drivers on this site will never die out....

The day the 2nd car rolled out of the factory, auto racing began. Its never going to stop. It may change its form..... from rice, to beans to cornbread or whatever, some guy is always going to want to be faster than that guy.
i mean... car modification is going mainstream nowadays.. i see it everywhere. On School notebooks, Toys, Videogames, Kids Clothes, Movies, even ****!... idk.. I think its going to end up a dying trend cosmetically. Even the car companies are targeting the younger crowds by offering cheap fast cars to mod. Sorry to rant again... but too much of a good thing is bad
