Turbo Specialties Inc. Turbo Kit for the 2001+ Honda Civic 1.7L
Turbo Specialties Inc. Turbo Kit for the 2001+ Honda Civic 1.7L
167 hp and 160 ft/lbs at the wheels!
Turbo Specialties answers the D17 Cognoscenti
Turbo Specialties, Inc and Turbo-Kits.com have answered the demand of all the red-headed stepchildren (otherwise known as a 2001-and-up Civic owners) by developing a new bolt-on turbo kit for the underpowered 1.7L SOHC. The fast-spooling T25 turbo allows the 1.7L to belt out 167 hp and 160 ft/lbs at the wheels or 200 hp and 192 ft/lbs measured at the crankshaft. These figures are made at only .4 bar (6 psi). Full boost is reached at 2500 RPM. This turbo kit will not win any dyno wars or make you a hero on Honda-Tech.com, but it will produce enough power and torque to make your drive more enjoyable, while still giving you the ability to drive it everyday. Like many factory turbocharged vehicles, you can upgrade the system by swapping out the T25 with the higher-flowing T28 Ball Bearing turbo which will give you 325-350 hp at the wheels (with proper tuning).
Included in the kit:
Garrett T25 Turbo
TSI Cast Iron Manifold
Heat Shield
2" Downpipe w/ Gasket
Map Box
APEX'i VAFC
TSI Blow Off Valve
APEX'i Turbo Timer
Boost Gauge
TSI High Flow Front Mount Intercooler
Polished Charge Piping
Air Cleaner
Stainless Steel Braided Turbo Water Lines
Stainless Steel Braided Oil Line
Oil Return Hose & Fitting
All Necessary Clamps, Gaskets, Fittings & Hoses

I've been keeping an eye on this kit. It looks decent. The one thing that kinda has me concerned is the fuel system that they're using. It doesn't look too quality. There's a few members I think that had it and said it was decent. I'm waiting for the dezod kit though to see how it really goes.

And since you're designing your kit around an EX AT, I know it should definately fit mine. You just need to hurry the hell up! I need boost!
