a n00b question on spark plugs

okay so i'm going back to stock and i was looking for some spark plugs... my neighbor hands me a box of honda spark plugs like 10 of them per box ... so i'm like SWEEETT!! i got free spark plugs but then i wondered if they would fit/work in my car....

i looked it up on google and it came up with a bunch of links pertaining to boats motors and stuff when i put the model number in...

NGK B7HS

i looked at the specs on the NGK webpage on these plugs and it says the reach is 14mm or about the same as our stock plugs...

b7hs my neighbors plugs

specs for our stock plugs

just wondering if it would be safe to put it in the car and run it....

what would be the potential danger in putting these plugs into the car?

Those are not the correct specs for spark plugs in Honda automobiles. Potential dangers would be premature detonation and engine damage, or spark plug fouling.

Use the correct plug please. You could cause hundreds in damage just for using free plugs.

If NGK is what is used by honda, why did mine come with densos? had the denso stock plugs in 02 ex for last 48,000 miles. always had a nasty torque hole when letting out the clutch in first. changed to v-power ngks and car loves them. Not as snappy top end, but drives real nice....guess they do like ngks....going for ngk iridium next time

BTW: I wouln't use the freebie plugs....those might work in a kawasaki motorcycle though.....

Just get the NGK iridium IX plugs. I tried the v-power and they were horrible. The iridiums have much better response and use noticably less voltage. They're still going strong over 10k miles.

how often do spark plugs need to be changed...I have had my IK20's (Densos) for about 25,000 miles the car is at 43,000 right now..the car at idle seems to vibrate more than before...is that the engine or the spark plugs..?

can you change yer own sparkplugs or is this like.. something that takes skill.. and is it worth it to change them from the stock ones if you have no engine mods other than an intake?
